Dark psych-folk with punk and metal energy, Food for the Wyrm is the evolution of singer-songwriter Beau James Wilding to a darker, heavier, more driven and band oriented sound.
A full length vinyl release under Food for the Wyrm, “A Wicked Huntsman” was released on 23 May, 2026.
Beau James Wilding/Food for the Wyrm is an artist from the south-central coast of California whose gritty and poetic work is reminiscent of the organic earnestness of traditional ballads, 70’s punk and classic metal delivered with a vibrant and rugged energy. Beau’s songs explore themes of self-investigation and living the question of what it means to make the most of our one precious life.
Beau James Wilding has gained college and community radio airplay across the US, Canada, the UK including official adds and light to heavy rotation across multiple releases.
